The June Technique was called Embedded Embossing. By punching or die cutting a variety of shapes, adhering them to blank cardstock and then running that piece of cardstock through the Big Shot using an Embossing Folder will create a great background for your card.
This technique is so easy that you can easily reproduce these cards on your own. That is what I love about alot of the techniques that I teach, I want you to not have fun making these cards but also easy enough to make them again when you get home.
Our first card using the fun stamp set from Stampin' Up! called Flower Shop. I especially loved the bronze Washi Tape that I added to this card, it just added the right amount of contrast.
Ink: Peekaboo Peach, Emerald Envy, Cajun Craze, Black
Paper: Peekaboo Peach Base, Cajun Craze Layer, Whisper White
Accessories: Affectionately Yours Washi Tape, Punch, Dimensions, Sponge Dauber, Boho Chic Embossing Folder
Here is the second card, the Swirly Bird stamp set is fast becoming a personal favorite. The more that I use it, the more I love it!
Stamp Sets: Swirly Bird, Thoughtful Banners
Ink: Dapper Denim, Emerald Envy, Sweet Sugarplum
Paper: Crumb Cake Base, Night of Navy Layer, Crumb Cake 2 1/2 x 5, Tip Top Taupe Scraps
Accessories: Swirly Scribbles Die, Affectionately Yours Designer Series Paper 2 3/4 x 5, Dimensions, Banner Punch
Here is the Fancy Fold card, it is a Window Card. One of those cards that came together after I saw something similar but then added the fold and made the design my own. Using the Swirly Scribbles Thinlets for the the water was genius!!
Ink: Pacific Point, Marina Mist, Cherry Cobbler, Black, Crushed Curry, Pumpkin Pie
Paper: Dapper Denim Base, Whisper White Layer, Dapper Denim scraps
Accessories: Oval Framelit die, Swirly Scribbles Thinlets
