Birthday Cards for ME - Part 2

Thanks so much for coming back!!  I want to share with you more birthday cards that I received.

I received this lovely card from Bernie Seidl.  Bernie is one of my stamping ladies and about two years ago, she took the plunge and joined my Stampin' Up! Team and became one of my down line.  I just LOVE this card!  Bernie also likes to paint in her spare time and it shows with how she sponged and added some white gel ink to the flower petals to make them pop!  I am just loving the new banner punch.  Bernie did such a lovely job with this card, maybe she should start teaching classes!!
Isn't this card cute?!!  The card comes from the May, 2016 Paper Pumpkin kit that Bernie Siedl subscribes to AND that her granddaughter made!!!  Millie Nevins made this card from the kit and sent it to me!  I was so touched, I have to admit, I had to think about this card for a minute to figure out who sent it.  Millie did a marvelous job on it and I think she has gotten alot of her artistic talent from her grandma!!
This is the card that my fabulous up line, Kelly Acheson, sent to me.  It features the Collar Fold technique and I just love it!!  The Collar Fold is so easy and it really makes for a beautiful card!  A great way to show off Designer Series Paper.  Thanks Kelly, love the card!!
My good friend, Arlys Knoop sent me this card, such a pretty card!!  I love the butterfly cut out and the Designer Paper peeking out.  Arlys has been coming to my Technique Stamping classes also for the last five years.  In fact, Arlys was the one who approached me and talked me into doing the classes.  I am so glad that I started doing the classes, I have made such great friends, and we all love to stamp.

Thanks for stopping by, I have more cards to share with you so make sure you come back!  Feel free to share my blog, I love to share what I love!

As always, take care and keep stamping!
Cindy

Birthday Cards to ME!!

My birthday was this past Sunday and I just love receiving birthday cards!!  I was blessed to receive quite a few birthday cards and I want to share all of the wonderful creations!  Alot were from my ladies that attend my classes, but I also received cards from my upline and a dear friend.

I loved this birthday wish, no it wasn't a card but a friend posted this on my Facebook timeline and wished me a Happy Birthday.  She knows that I stamp and this was such a fun and sweet picture that I just had to share!
I received this card from my dear friend, Karen Flynn.  Karen's daughter, Kelly Acheson, who is also my upline made this card and keeps her mom well supplied in cards!  This beautiful card uses a lattice technique, we have made it in our Technique Class and I love the this take on this fun technique.  Thank you so much dear friend!
Here is a stunning card that I received from Sandi Schumacher, she has been a stamper for years and is also one of the ladies that attend my Technique Stamping class.  In fact, Sandi has been attending my class since I first started the class coming up on 5 years!!  Well done Sandi!

I received this lovely card from Rachel McBride.  The lattice punched on the side features a beautiful pearl designer paper and really makes the card pop.   Rachel is also one of my stamping ladies.  Thank Rachel for this lovely card!!

I will share the next batch of three cards with you tomorrow, so be sure to come back and check them out!!  As always, thanks for stopping by!

Beautiful Card and the Joke of the Week!!

I want to share with you today a beautiful card that I received last week from a former roommate, current friend and fellow Stampin' Up! demonstrator.  I am talking about Janet Forton.  I met Jan, many years ago when we were both assigned to the same apartment building when we were going to college in Eau Claire.  We hit it off immediately and became friends.  We had some great times, after college we both went our separate ways.  Jan ended up in her home town of Wisconsin Rapids and I was in Eau Claire for three more years but moved back to Neillsville.  Our paths did not cross for quite a few years until we found each on Facebook.  We also found out that were each Stampin' Up! demonstrators!!  What a small world, right?!!

Here is the beautiful card that she sent me, she belongs to a card swap group and this was one of her swaps.
She used the new In Colors Peekaboo Peach ink and card base.  Added a layer using Playful Palette Designer Series Paper and used the banner die and Scalloped Tag Topper Punch for her back drop to show off the sentiment.  She used the stamp set Thoughts and Prayers and I love how she used the flower sprig from this stamp set to randomly stamp the flowers using Delightful Dijon in on her Very Vanilla piece of cardstock.  I almost thought it was another piece of designer paper when I first looked at it!  Thanks Jan for the card and inspiration!!

I decided to come up with a Joke of the Week, just to keep things light and fun!
JOKE OF THE WEEK!!!
(And this was a true conversation between myself and my husband!)
Me:  Look at how green everything is! (As we are admiring our lawn, woods and outdoors)
Jim:  What kind of green are you seeing?
Me:  Oh,  I see Garden Green, Always Artichoke, Old Olive, some Emerald Envy and a little Mint Macaron!
Jim:  Ha! Ha!  Very funny!
Me:  I thought so!  (He knew right away where the colors came from, he's been paying attention!)

Thanks for stopping in, leave me a message!!  I always love to hear from you!
