July Creative Crew Cards

July is my final month to participate in the Creative Crew Challenges, so it was a matter of trying to think of Christmas and cold weather when it was 88 degrees out with tropical dew points!  Not the easiest thing to do but I kept it simple and was happy with the results. I was happy to be a participate in the challenges and it really took me outside of my "comfort zone" more than once.

My first card was Color Focus and I was pick three colors to create a Christmas Card.  I choose Cherry Cobbler, Basic Black and Very Vanilla. The simple design worked out just perfect for this card.

Stamp Set:  Holly Jolly Greetings
Ink:  Memento Black, Night of Navy
Paper:  Cherry Cobbler Base, Basic Black Layer, Very Vanilla Layer
Accessories:  Silver Glitter Paper

The second challenge was to make a dreamy card to celebrate the season.

Stamp Set:  Peaceful Pines, Thoughtful Banners
Ink:  Emerald Envy, Memento Black
Paper:  Dapper Denim Base,Whisper White Layer
Accessories:  Silver Glitter Paper, Softly Falling Embossing Folder, Perfect Pines Framelits, Dimensions

My last card was to create a traditional Christmas card with an elegant fold. We just made a window card in my June Technique class so this was an easy one.

Stamp Set: Embellished Ornament
Ink:  Cherry Cobbler, Memento Black
Paper:  Cherry Cobbler Base, Very Vanilla Layer
Accessories:  Floral Affection Embossing Folder

And the last challenge was to make some sort of Christmas packaging, especially geared to the younger person.  That was easy!!  I know how much my grandkids love the the little presents that I hide in our Curvy Keepsake Die.
Get your punches out, that is just how easy putting together this cute snowman using our Curvy Keepsake die.

Thanks for stopping in!
Cindy

June Kit Class Cards

This week we got together at Schmitty's Restaurant Basement to make for our monthly Kit Class.  This class is really alot of fun, we had six in attendance and I am so proud of our stampers.  Now you might think that making 15 cards in 2 to 2 1/2 hours is impossible, but it really isn't.  We have refined this class and while you are making 15 cards, I have made 5 sample cards and you make them 3 times.  Of course, you can change the cards if you like to make them your own, but for the most part the cards are made as is by the ladies.

This class is all about having a class that is yours and the ladies like it that way!  When they suggest cards that they are short on, you can be sure that next month we will be making those cards.  A month ago, they suggested making "another card"!!  I was surprised how well that was received to be honest.  Each month, one lady will bring a card that they design.  It can just be a card that they like or it can be a technique that they have found and want to try.  They cut out all the supplies for those in attendance.  The only requirement is that the supplies, ink and stamps have to be Stampin' Up!  We have had some great cards shared and now call this part of the class, Show and Tell!  The person that made the Show and Tell card then gets to pick who will be the next person to share a card with us to make.

Next month we will be making some baby cards, some wedding cards and anniversary cards.  The featured stamper has been picked and she is checking her calendar!!  Want to join us and live in the Neillsville area, email me and I will put you on the list!  The cards are also available as a kit, all cut out for but not stamped (per SU policy)

July Technique Class Invite!!

July 2016 Technique Class

Bubbles Background

It’s time to check those calendars!! We have a fun class coming up in July, I can’t wait to share with you this fun technique.

I learnt this fun technique in June at our monthly Kit Class.  The ladies wanted to take turn being the teacher and teaching us a new technique or card.  Our lovely Elizabeth shared this card.  The photo doesn't do it justice, the card is just so very pretty.

When you were a kid did you ever take a straw and blow bubble in your milk glass or drink glass?  Well we get to relive our childhood and blow some bubbles and create a cute background for our cards.  I can’t wait to show this fun technique to you.

Join me for a fun two hours of stamping!!

6:30 p.m. either night

To help you plan your evening, class usually takes about 2 hours, so you can figure to be done by 8:30 p.m.

All you need to remember is your adhesive and scissors.

Class size is limited to the first 10 ladies to sign up!

Feel free to invite a friend, we always enjoy meeting new people and sharing what we love!!  But please remember, the techniques may be over whelming and we want everyone to have a good time. I don’t always have the time for one on one teaching, but if this is something that you are interested in, lets talk!!
Thank you for Understanding.

Cost of the class is $10 for the class, you will make 3 cards (2 Technique Cards and 1 Fancy Project), or the class is FREE if you order $15 (before shipping and handling) of Stampin' Up! Product from me.

Just send me an email if you can make it, I can't wait to show you three great cards.

Happy Stamping!!
