February 2017 Technique Class - Intricate Dies Made Easy & Beautiful

Using Intricate Dies can be challenging when it comes to adhering them to your card.  You don't want the glue to squish out the sides, because of all of the cuts you really can't use adhesive tape and you think to yourself:  There has to be an easier way!!

I just learnt an easy way to solve all of the above problems!!  Just cut out your shape; be it the Dragonfly from Dragonfly Dreams, the Beautiful Butterfly or the Detailed Florets to name a few.  Next take a sponge and the Silicone Craft Sheet that Stampin' Up! sells on page 182 of the Annual Catalog; if you don't have the Silicone sheet a piece of plastic will also works.  Put a little Tombow Glue on the piece of plastic and then sponge some of this glue to the back of the die cut.  The sponge keeps you from adding too much glue to the die cut.  Just adhere the shape to your card!  That easy!

Card #2 - Dragonfly Dreams
Stamp Sets:  Dragonfly Dreams, Flourishing Phrases
Ink:  Black, Old Olive
Paper:  Old Olive Base, Black Layer, Serene Scenery Designer Series Paper; Night of Navy and Cajun Craze scrapes
Accessories:  Detailed Dragonfly Thinlets, Dimensions, Black Sequins

Card #3 - Hey Chick Slider Card

I love how this card turned out, it takes a little patience to put together but really is not that hard.
 Stamp Set:  Hey Chick (Sale a Bration)
Ink:  Soft Suede
Paper:  Delightful Dijon Base, Chocolate Chip Layers, Whisper White
Accessories:  Dimensions, Classic Label Punch, Bunch of Banners Framelits, Urban Underground Washi Tape, Hexagons Dynamic Embossing Folder, Tear Tape, Glue Dots, Metallic Ribbon
