November Technique Cards

I named the technique for November "Wobble Wobble" because the wobble was the vocal point of our cards. We used Wobble Action Springs to make our card interactive and to be the center of attention. You can find wobbles at your local craft store, they are fun to work with and really make the card.

Card #1 - Rocking Horse

Project Recipe:

STAMP SET: Rocking Horse

INK: Memento Black

PAPER: Poppy Parade Base, Merry Bold & Bright DSP Layer, Granny Apple Green & White

ACCESSORIES: Wobble, Dimensionals, Rocking Horse Dies, Silver Sequins, Stampin' Blends in Balmy Blue, Poppy Parade, Granny Apple Green, Soft Suede, Crumb Cake

How fun was that card?!! The next card is just as fun!

Card #2 - Heaven & Nature

Project Recipe:

STAMP SET: Perched in a Tree

INK: Memento Black, Night of Navy, Boho Blue

PAPER: Boho Blue Base, Countryside Inn DSP, White Layer, Copper Clay

ACCESSORIES: Wobble, Deckled Circle Dies (2nd Smallest), Aspen Tree Dies, Dimensionals, Iridescent Gem

I loved both cards, they were so much fun to make. We all enjoyed this technique.

Card #3 - Window Card Fancy Fold

STAMPS: Heartfelt Hexagon, So Sincere (Inside)

INK: Basic Gray

PAPER: Smokey Slate Base & Window, One Horse Open Sleigh DSP, White Inside

ACCESSORIES: Garden Meadow Dies, Stitched So Sweetly Dies, Snowflake Embellishments (2), Timeworn 3D Embossing Folder

CUTTING/SCORING:

  • Smokey Slate Base 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" Scored at 4 1/4"
  • Smokey Slate Window Layer  5 1/2" x 6 1/4" Score each end at 1/2" & 1"
  • One Horse Open Sleigh DSP 4 1/4" x 5"
Fold the window piece on the fold lines, using the hill & valley technique. Emboss the layer piece with the Timeworn 3D Embossing Folder. Garden Meadow Dies, place the oval piece in the center and cut out. Adhere the One Horse Open Sleigh DSP onto the front of the card piece. Layer the cut out Smokey Slate Layer piece to the front of the card. What makes the card is that the front piece does not lay flat but rather bulges to show off the window.

I hope that you enjoyed this month's cards, we sure had fun making them. Remember that this class is available as a Class to Go!

Take care,
Cindy
