Happy Valentine’s Day – Hugs For Love

Cutting & Scoring:

Smoky Slate – 8-½” x 5-½”, score at 4-¼”
Basic Gray – 5-3/8” x 4-1/8”, scrap
Basic White – 2 @ 5 ¼” x 4”, scrap
DSP – Scraps
Twine – 24”

Instructions:

Score Basic White using scoring tool at 5/8”, 7/8”, 1-1/8” from the bottom staggering the lengths and 2-¼”, 3”, 3-¼” from the top also staggering the lengths. Flip over top to bottom then score in between each of the original scorings, staggering again.
Punch two pieces from the DSP and adhere to the front of the card base with liquid glue, upper left corner and lower right corner.
Adhere to piece of Basic Gray with liquid glue.
Add the twine, wrapping around three times secure using tape.
Stamp desired boarder image on scrap of white using Real Red then punch out image.
Stamp sentiment with Black Memento and small hearts with Smoky Slate, stamping off once or second generation for the hearts only.
Punch a piece of Basic Gray cut in half and adhering to the back of the stamped Basic White letting equal amounts of overhang on each side. Adhere with dimensionals to front of card, over the twine.
Adhere to front of card base with dimensionals.
Stamp sentiment on second piece of Basic White with Black Memento and the small hearts in the lower right corner with Real Red. Adhere to inside of card base with liquid glue.
