Heartfelt Sympathy Card

Cutting & Scoring:

Basic Black 4-1/4” x 11” score @ 5-1/2”, 3/8” strips
Basic White 2 @ 4” x 5-1/4”, #3 Stylish Shape Square die cut
Real Red 2-1/8” x 2-1/8”
Botanical Textures DSP 3 or 4 pieces that measure 2-3/4” x 4-1/2”, 1/2” x 4” (inside)

Instructions:

Fold the Basic Black cardstock base in half.
Die cut the 3^rd largest square from the Stylish Shapes from Basic White cardstock
Turning the square to a diamond shape, stamp the greeting in the center and stamp some of the leaf branches along the outside.
Adhere the greeting square to the Real Red square and then adhere this to the center of one of the Basic White panels.
Beginning at one of the corners of the square, adhere a strip of the Basic Black along the side of the square to the edge of the card and then trim the strip. Line up a strip to the next corner of the square making sure it touches the first strip and adhere along the square – continue this until you have lined the outside of the square with the Basic Black strips.
Adhere the DSP in each of the sections of the card lining it up to the top and side of the strips and then trim off along the edge of the Basic White layer. Continue this until all four sections have DSP added to them.
Adhere to the front of the card base.
Embellish with some of the Neutral Matte Dots and the Black & Vanilla checked Ribbon..
Adhere the small strip of DSP along the bottom of the 2^nd Basic White layer and you could also stamp a greeting if you would like.
Adhere the inside layer to the inside of the card base.
