September Technique Class Cards - Twisted Ribbon

 September is such a great month, we can start focusing on our Autumn Cards and look forward to the beautiful colors that the trees will give us.

September technique was Twisted Ribbon, a technique that will give us great results with just a few strips of Designer Series Paper. 

Card #1 - Autumn Wishes

Start with a strip of cardstock measuring 1 3/4" to 2" side and as long as the length of your cardstock. Then Score ever 1/2" increments on the long side. Adhere 1/2" strips of DSP from top to bottom of the score lines, every other line. Reverse the 2nd 1/2" pattern of DSP from top right to bottom left. Trim off excess on edges and add to the card front.

INK: Memento Black, Memento Black

PAPER: Cajun Craze Base & Scraps, Basic Beige 2" x 4" Scored ever 1/2", 3" x 4" & 3 3/4" x 5" Inside, Autumn Toile DSP cut into 1/2" strips, White 3" x 3"

ACCESSORIES: Amber Autumn Dies, Dimensionals, Streaked Early Espresso Dots, Stampin' Blends in Crumb Cake, Cajun Craze, & Old Olive

Card #2 - Thankful

Project Recipe:

STAMP SETS: Gathering Moments

INK: Early Espresso, Cajun Craze, Pumpkin Pie, Crumb Cake

PAPER: Early Espresso Base & 2 1/8" x 5 1/8" Layer, Basic Beige 2" x 5" Scored every 1/2", Gathering Together DSP 1/2" Strips, Tag & White to stamp Leaves

ACCESSORIES: Gathering Moments Dies, Cajun Craze & Gold Dots, Dimensionals, Countryside Corners Dies (Tag), Gathering Leaves Embossing Folder

Card #3 - Celebrate Today Fancy Fold - Accordian Card

PAPER: Pecan Pie Base 4 1/4" x 5 1/2", Autumn Toile DSP 11 1/2" x 5 1/4 Scored at 4", 6 3/4" & 9 1/2", Very Vanilla 4" x 3 3/4" Inside & 4" x 4" Circle & Scraps

ACCESSORIES: Deckled Dies (Tag), Swirl Dots, Spotlight on Nature Dies, Dimensionals, Early Espresso & Old Olive Twine
