May Kit Class - Fond Farewell

The May Kit Class met last week and all of the cards were about bidding a Fond Farewell to retiring cardstock, ink and stamp sets.  While we won't be making cards using the retiring items anymore, we can't wait to start using the new stamp sets!!

Card #1 - What a Blast!!

Card #2 - For All Things

 This card looks more difficult than it really is.  By taking the solid background stamp that is in the For All Things (Retired) ink up with Daffodil Delight ink and starting at the bottom, overlap the Daffodil Delight and stamp all the way up. What a fun background this created.

Card #3 - Happy Anniversary

By using glue dots to secure the twine and then covering with a punched out butterfly is a great way to secure the twine.

Ink:  Island Indigo, Lemon Lime Twist
Paper:  Island Indigo Base, Island Indigo Layer, Whisper White, In Color DSP
Accessories:  Dimensional, White Twine, Banner Punch, Fluttering Embossing Folder, Butterfly Punch

Card #3 - Thanks & Coffee

Stamp Set:  Coffee Cafe
Ink:  Early Espresso, Always Artichoke
Paper:  Always Artichoke Base, Chocolate Chip Layer, Whisper White, Coffee Break DSP
Accessories:  Coffee Cups Framelits, Gold Sequins, Dimensionals

Card #5 - Cool Treat

By stamping off the Rose Red and Tempting Turquoise when you get ready to stamp the Popsicle
will create this cool pastel look.
