Fair Time

This past weekend was the county fair for Clark County, Wisconsin; I have been going to the fair for quite a few years. Missed a few years when we were going to northern Wisconsin camping. But we have a reason to be going to the fair now, grandkids!!

Andi is in 4H now and Easten surprised us and entered the Mutton Busting & Steer Riding Rodeo for the first time.  So indulge this grandma and let me show off my sweethearts (who are growing up way too fast!!)

Andi is a 4H Explorer, so here are her entries.

 One potholder in her favorite colors.

 Yes, she entered a card that she made all by herself. I just supplied the pattern, but this is all hers.

Now we have our little rodeo rider who is only 5 years old! Oh Easten James, stay little a little while longer!! I am told, he picked out his outfit himself.

Here we go, going to ride the sheep!

 Now its time to ride the steer.

 He was only able to stay on 4 seconds of the 8 seconds. But what a proud moment!

 All smiles as he walks to the gate and dad!  Dad was all smiles also.
