Wednesday Wow - Fall Sympathy

Stampin’ Up! Supplies:
  • STAMPS – Here’s A Card (149438)
  • PAPER –Very Vanilla (101650), Pretty Peacock (150880), Sahara Sand (121043), Merry Merlot (146979), Mint Macaron (138337), Come to Gather Designer Series Paper (DSP) (150454)
  • INK –Merry Merlot (147112), Pretty Peacock (150083)
  • OTHER – Die Cutting Machine, Stitched Nested Labels (149638), Gathered Leaves Dies (150662), Hammered Metal 3D Embossing Folder (150646), 2-1/4” Circle Punch (143720), 3/16” Braided Linen Trim (147808), Stamping Sponges (141337), Multipurpose Liquid Glue (110755), Stampin Dimensionals (104490), Mini Glue Dots (103683)
Cutting & Scoring:
  • Pretty Peacock 8-1/2” x 5-1/2” scored at 4-1/4”
  • Sahara Sand 4” x 5-1/4”, scrap
  • Very Vanilla 4” x 5-1/4” (inside) and 4-1/4” x 3”
  • Come to Gather DSP 2-3/4” x 2-3/4”, 1/2" x 4” (inside)
  • Mint Macaron scrap
  • Merry Merlot scrap
Instructions:

  • Fold Pretty Peacock in half to make card base.
  • Cut out the largest Nested Label (without one end of the label
  • Cut out each of the leaves from the Gathered Leaves Dies (one each in Sahara Sand, Merry Merlot, and Mint Macaron)
  • Run the Sahara Sand Layer through the Hammered Metal 3D Embossing Folder
  • Adhere the Sahara Sand layer to the card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue
  • With Merry Merlot ink, stamp the greeting near the bottom of the Nested Label and also stamp the inside greeting on the Very Vanilla layer.
  • Punch a 2-1/4” circle from the Come to Gather DSP
  • Adhere the circle near the top of the Nested Label using Multipurpose Liquid Glue
  • Sponge a little bit of Pretty Peacock ink over the Mint Macaron leaf to help the embossed details pop)
  • Adhere the Sahara Sand and Merry Merlot leaves on the circle using Multipurpose Liquid Glue and then the Mint Macaron leaf with Stampin Dimesionals
  • Tie a bow with the Braided Linen Trim and pull apart some of the braiding
  • Adhere the bow to the front of the card
  • Adhere the 1/2" strip of Come to Gather DSP to the bottom of the inside layer and adhere to the inside of the card
  • Enjoy!
