March Technique Class Cards - Emboss Resist on Vellum

The second Tuesday of the Month is always Technique Class, and our technique for March was called Emboss Resist on Vellum.  What a neat technique this is and a great variation for a classic Technique.

Its very easy, just emboss the vellum that you are using and apply ink to your image. Wipe off the ink from the embossed piece, you will see a soft color left.  The results are always so pretty.

Card #1 - Birthday Memories

INK: Soft Suede, Flirty Flamingo, Daffodil Delight
PAPER: Flirty Flamingo Base, Tropical Oasis Layer, Crumb Cake 3 x 4 1/2, Whisper White
ACCESSORIES: Coastal Weave 3D Embossing Folder, Copper Embossing Powder, Stitched So Sweetly Dies, Braided Burlap (4"), Glue Dots, Vellum Cardstock, Dimensionals

Card #2 - Happy Birthday Lillies

STAMP SETS: Lovely Lily Pad (SAB), Sending You Thoughts (SAB)
INK: Melon Mambo, Pool Party, Blackberry Bliss
PAPER: Melon Mambo Base, Lily Impressions Designer Series Paper (SAB) Layer, Whisper White, Vellum Cardstock
ACCESSORIES: Lily Pad Dies, Rectangle Stitched Dies, Dimensionals, White Grosgrain Ribbon

Card #3 - Flap Card Fancy Fold - Life's Showers

STAMP SETS:  Under My Umbrella, So Sentimental
INK: Memento Black, Balmy Blue
PAPER: Balmy Blue Base 5 1/2 x 7 1/2, scored at 3 1/4, Whisper White Layer, Pleased as Punch Designer Series Paper
ACCESSORIES: Umbrella Builder Punch, Stitched So Sweetly Dies, Dimensionals, Beads & Baubles Embossing Folder, SU Blends Balmy Blue & Real Red, Blueberry Bushel Glitter Gems
