When I saw the Spiral Dye Background Dye, I immediately thought of the t-shirts that we use to tie dye back in the day. What is even more special is that by just turning your cardstock 180 degrees or so, you can create a unique multi-color effect. This stamp can be found on page 118 of the 2021-2022 Annual Catalog.
Here is a close up of the card that I made this past Monday night in my Facebook Live.
Project Recipe:
STAMP SETS: Spiral Dye, Happiest of Birthdays, Light Hearted Lines
INK: Coastal Cabana, Polished Pink, Memento Black
PAPER: Coastal Cabana Base, Polished Pink Layer, White (2) 3 3/4 x 5 & Scraps
ACCESSORIES: White Twine, Dimensionals, Rectangle Stitched Dies, Layering Circle Dies, Coastal Cabana Sequins
For the tie dye effect, I first stamped the Spiral Dye using Coastal Cabana ink, cleaned the stamp off and then moved my cardstock about 180 degrees and stamped the Spiral Dye again using Polished Pink ink.
Here is the video where you can see exactly how I did this!
