May Technique Class - Panels

The May Technique Class was a lot of fun, I have found that it does not have to be a difficult technique in order to be a fun technique!  The Panel Technique is a great way to use Designer Series Paper (DSP).  The cards are also quick and easy and would be great to have on hand or even package up as a gift.

Card #1 - Thinking of You

Project Recipe:

STAMP SET: Beauty of Friendship

INK: Mossy Meadow, Cinnamon Cider, Old Olive

PAPER: Misty Moonlight Base, Mossy Meadow Layer, White Inside & Scrap, Beauty of the Earth DSP (3) 1 1/4" x 5"

ACCESSORIES: Beautiful Trees Dies, Dimensions, Burlap Ribbon

When using three panels, I used 1 1/4 x 5, and space them apart before I adhere them to my layer.  Having that layer really helps to make your card "pop"!

Card #2 - Pansy Patch

The Pansy card is a 4 panel card, using 4 panels that measure 1 1/4" x 4", the card is also a horizontal card.

Card #3 - Big Thanks - Front Flap Fancy Fold

Project Recipe:

STAMP SET: Flowers of  Friendship

INK: Memento Black

PAPER: Misty Moonlight Base 4 1/4 x 5 1/2, Pale Papaya Layer 3x11, Scored at 5 1/2

White (2) 2 5/8 x 5 1/4, Hand Penned Designer Series Paper (2) 1 1/2 x 5 1/2 & 1 x 3

ACCESSORIES: Flowers & Leaves Punch, Stitched So Sweetly Dies, Ornate Floral 3D Embossing Folder, Dimensions, Pale Papaya Sheer Ribbon, Pale Papaya Genial Gems

Inside:

Adhere the 2 Hand Penned DSP 1 1/2 x 5 on the both sides of the Misty Moonlight card base. Adhere one of the 2 5/8 x 5 1/4 White pieces in the middle of the Pale Papaya bottom piece. Run the top piece of the Pale Papaya through your embossing machine using the Ornate Floral 3D Embossing Folder. Cut out white piece for the front using the Stitched So Sweetly Dies (2nd largest). Stamp Flowers using Memento Black ink and color with Stampin' Blends. Adhere to the front of the card using Dimensions. Stamp 2 Flowers from the leftover white cardstock, color and punch out with Flowers & Leaves Punch. Adhere both flowers to the front of the card. Stamp a card verse on the 2nd white piece, decorate to finish the card.

Enjoy!
