June Technique Class - Peek a Boo Technique

I was looking for a fun and easy technique for the month of June and I think that I found it with the Peek a Boo Technique. The Peek a Boo Technique is a great way to add dimension to a card.  Select the stamp set with a coordinating die.  Stamp your image and cut out with the die, set aside.  Then take the die and also cut out the shape on the front of your card. Adhere the stamped cut out image on the inside of the card so that it is "peeking" out of the card from the front.

 Project Recipe:

STAMP SETS: Sweet as a Peach

INK: Pear Pizzazz, Calypso Coral, Flirty Flamingo

PAPER: Calypso Coral Card Base, You're a Peach Designer Series Paper, Basic White Scraps

ACCESSORIES: Dimensionals, Calypso Coral Sequins

HINT:  After cutting out the peach, I sponged the edges with Calypso Coral ink.

Card #2 - Pretty in Pink Birthday

Project Recipe:

STAMP SETS: Artistically Ink

INK: Polished Pink, Evening Evergreen

PAPER: Polished Pink Base, Blushing Bride Layer, Expression in Ink Designer Series Paper, Basic White Scraps

ACCESSORIES: Artistic Dies, Gold Gilded Gems, Dimensionals

HINT:  I stamped and cut out with die the center of the flower and then adhered it to the card using a dimensional.

STAMP SETS: Beauty of Friendship

INK: Soft Suede, Soft Succulent, Shaded Spruce

PAPER: Soft Succulent Base 8 1/2 x 5 1/2, scored at 4 1/4 & 2 1/8, Even Evergreen Layer 4 1/4 x 2 3/4, Basic White 5 1/4 x 4 & 4 x 2 1/2, In Good Taste Designer Series Paper 5 1/4 x 1 3/4

ACCESSORIES: Stampin Blends - Soft Succulent, Clear Epoxy Essential Gems

HINT:  I colored the Clear Epoxy gem with the Soft Succulent Blends to make it appear that leaves were falling from the trees.
