Stampin' Up! Tip - Sweet & Simple Stamping

 

Sweet and #SimpleStamping
#SimpleStamping is a great way to introduce new or potential customers to stamping. And these sweet and simple cards are great examples of how you can create your own #SimpleStamping cards.
All three cards use one stamp set—the Garden Birdhouses Stamp Set—and yet each card uses a different technique to create a unique style. Explore the stamp sets in your new annual catalog and plan three simple cards that you can share in your upcoming events or online with #SimpleStamping in the caption.
Each card features only two ink pads and one or two colors of cardstock. The Birthday Wishes card is the simplest with just one color of cardstock and a couple of images, all stamped on a single layer. The Hello card uses more images, layers, and a punch. We even customized the punch shape to fit the sentiment a little better—all it took was a couple of snips with our trusty Paper Snips. Facebook Live Replay - Artistically Inked

 Happy Memorial Day Week, my stamp set this week is called Artistically Inked.  I can't wait to show you this stamp set, coordinating dies and the designer series paper. This whole suite is just so beautiful, and to think that I almost didn't get it.  So sit back and enjoy!

• 
  

Cutting & Scoring:

• Night of Navy 5-1/2” x 8-1/2” scored at 4-1/4”, 5/8” strip for greeting

• Daffodil Delight 4” x 5-1/4” and 2-5/8” x 3-5/8”

• Sweet Symmetry DSP: 5” x 3-3/4” & 1/2” x 5-1/4” (inside)

• Basic White 2-1/2” x 3-1/2” & 4” x 5-1/4” (inside)

Instructions:

• Fold Night of Navy cardstock in half to make card base

• Adhere the large Sweet Symmetry DSP to the large layer of Daffodil Delight Cardstock and adhere to the front of the card.

• On the smaller Basic White layer, stamp the center flower as shown in Versa Mark Ink. Get some of the Night of Navy chalk dust from the pastel by scribbling on a piece of scrap typing paper and then using a dauber, rub the chalk onto the stamped image.

• On the same layer, stamp the two tulip-like flower to the right and left of the center flower in Versa Mark ink. Get some of the Daffodil Delight chalk dust from the pastel by scribbling on a piece of scrap typing paper and then using a dauber, rub the chalk onto the stamped image.

• On the same layer, stamp the three stems and leaves in Versa Mark ink. Get some of the Granny Apple Green chalk dust from the pastel by scribbling on a piece of scrap typing paper and then using a sponge dauber, rub the chalk onto the stamped image.

• Adhere this Basic White layer to a the smaller Daffodil Delight layer.

• Wrap the Twine from the Ribbon pack around this layer and tie in a bow on the left side of the layer.

• Adhere this to the center of the card using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

• Stamp the greeting in Versa Mark on the Night of Navy strip and add White embossing powder and heat set with the heat tool

• Punch each end with the Banners Pick A Punch.

• Adhere to the front of the card using Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.

• Add one small Rhinestone to each of the flowers.

• Stamp a greeting in Night of Navy ink to the Basic White layer for the inside of the card.

• Adhere the small strip of DSP along the bottom of the inside layer.

• Adhere this layer to the inside of the card

• Enjoy!

Garage Sale This Week Thursday & Friday

 My daughter-in-law is having a Garage Sale this Thursday, June 3 starting at Noon to 8 and Friday, June 4 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.  I will be having some Retired Stamps and Cards for sale.

From CTH H to CTH K corners, take a Left, first side road on the Left is Heath Rd, they are the 2nd residence on the left.  Taupe 2 story house with green roof, and pool in the back (that you can see from the road)
