October Technique Class - Floating Technique

 Here is a new variation of the Floating Technique. It is also a great way to use up paper scraps or those little pieces of designer series paper. Adhere different widths of paper to a clear acrylic square, then cut with dies into the shape that you want. Adhere to the front of your card with dimensionals.

Card #1 - Today

Project Recipe:
STAMP SETS: Splendid Thoughts

INK: Memento Black, Pool Party

PAPER: Thick White Base, White Layer & Inside, Coastal Cabana, Pool Party, Black

ACCESSORIES: Splendid Stems Dies, Black Matte Dots (2), Layering Circle Dies, Acrylic Sheet, Tombo Adhesive

HINT:  The cardstock strips were cut 1/2" strips.

Card #2 - Grateful

Project Recipe:
STAMP SETS: Hello Harvest, Very Best Occasions

INK: Early Espresso, Cajun Craze, Mossy Meadow

PAPER: Think White Base, Rustic Harvest Designer Series Paper 2 1/2 x 3 (1/2" Strips), White (2) 3 3/4 x 5" and Acrylic Window Sheet 2 1/2 x 3, Daffodil Delight Layer

ACCESSORIES: Rustic Pumpkin Dies, Layering Circle Dies, Sponge Daubers, Pale Papaya Opal Rounds

Card #3 - Horizontal Fancy Fold

STAMP SETS: Lovely & Lasting, Harvest Hello (Retired), Charming Sentiments

INK: Memento Black, Parakeet Party, Night of Nay

PAPER: Night of Navy Base 11" x 4 1/4" Scored at 4 1/4" & 5 1/2", Parakeet Party Layer 5" x 3 3/4", Butterfly Designer Series Paper 4" x 3", White Inside 3 3/4" x 5"

ACCESSORIES: Apple Builder Punch, Dimensionals, Glue Dots, Gingham Embossing Folder, 2 1/4" Circle Punch (Retired)

This was a fun and simple fold, we really enjoyed making it.
