March Technique Class Cards - Faux Quilting

 If you also like to quilt, I have a great technique that you can try. Faux Quilting not only will help you use those scraps but also create a unique pattern for your card. You can either use a square punch or cut 1 1/4" squares, after gluing down your squares, use an embossing folder to really add some depth.

Card #3 Fancy Fold - Hello Friend Accordian Fancy Fold

Project Recipe:

STAMP SET: Lovely Arrangements

INK: Misty Moonlight

PAPER: Misty Moonlight Base, Painted Illusions DSP, White

ACCESSORIES: Lovely Arrangements DSP, Dimensionals, White Flat Gems

CUTTING & SCORING:

• Misty Moonlight 5 1/2" x 7 1/2" Score at 3/4" & 4" on long side
• Take the above Misty Moonlight in the trimmer on the short side, cut to the 4 1/4" mark and then cut that 1/2" piece out.
• Misty Moonlight 5" x 6 1/4" Score at 2 3/4" 
• Take above Misty Moonlight piece in trimmer on the 5" side at the 3/4" mark and cut down to the score line at 2 3/4"
• Painted Illusions DSP 4" x 5 1/4"
• Painted Illusions DSP 3 1/4" x 4 3/4"
• Painted Illusions DSP 2 1/2" x 4" Cut 2
• White 3 1/4" x 4 3/4"
• White Scrap for Tag
