Creative Challenge: Visually Clean and Simple Projects

This month’s Creative Challenge focuses on clean and simple designs (though not necessarily easy to create). Teach your customers these three principles: Embrace negative space—a neutral palette and white-on-white layers leave plenty of breathing room. Add subtle texture—“clean” doesn’t mean “technique-free”; tap a Stampin’ Blend against a Bone Folder or rough up the edges of a layer for light distressing. Cluster elements to the power of three—group a trio of elements to create a single, clear focal point (e.g. background stamping + images + sentiment).
