Split Negative Technique
Try this technique for two primary images to build into
beautiful cards. What is so unique about
this technique is that you get two cards at once! Just cut your layers and there you go!!
Card 1 – Thinking of You
Stamp Sets: Lovely as Tree, Yippee Skippee (Inside
greeting) and Itty Bitty Banners
Ink: Baked Brown Sugar, Crushed Curry, Versamark
Paper: Crushed Curry 4 ¼ x 8 ½
Tango Tangerine 4 x 5 ¼
Very Vanilla (Inside) 3 ¼ x 3 ¾
Old Olive/Tango Tangerine 2 ½ x 2 ½
Early Espresso 3 x 3
DS Paper Venetian Romance 3 ¼ x 3 1/2
Dimensions, Vanilla Embossing
Powder, Stripped Embossing Folder, Washi Tape
HINT: Cut your images cardstock at the same time so
that they are EXACTLY the same.
Card 2 – Blooming with Kindness
Ink: Basic Grey, Melon Mambo, Versamark
Paper: Sahara Sand 4 ¼ x 8 ½
Always Artichoke 4 x 5 ¼
Melon Mambo 4 x 5 ¼
Whisper White (2 pcs) 4 x 5 ¼
Accessories: Melon Mambo Embossing Powder,
White Embossing Powder,
Apothecary Framlits, Vintage Faceted Buttons, Washi Tape
Hint: Cut Melon/White Embossed Image with
Apothecary Framlits AFTER embossing, this way they will be the exact same size.
Fancy Fold – Shadow Box Sunflower
Stamp Sets: Mixed Bunch, From my Heart, Sunflower
Ink: Early Espresso, Crisp Cantaloupe, Pistachio
Pudding
Paper: Crisp Cantaloupe 4 x 5 ¼
Very Vanilla 4 x 5 ¼ & 4 x 4 ½ (inside)
