Scrappy Purse!!

My upline, Kelly Acheson, shared the instructions on how to make this cute Scrappy Purse back in 2009 for her Scrapbook Club Project.  A cute spin on taking your photos with you to share but in a papercraft purse that everyone is going to just ohh and ahh over!!

I used Kelly's basic design but then added my own spin on it!  Hope that you enjoy this fun project, and if you were came to our class this past week then you got to see it in person and had the chance to win it!!

 Stamp Set that I used was Stampin' Up! Butterfly Basics
 Purse Front:  Rose Red, 5 1/2" x 4 1/4",  DSP Paper 5 1/4" x 4"
 Purse Flap:  Bermuda Bay 6"x6",  DSP Paper 4"x4"
 Inside :  Layers - 2 Pieces cut at 5 1/2" x 4", 2 Pieces cut at 5 1/2" x 4 1/4", 1 Piece cut at 5 x 5 3/4" and scored in half at 2 1/2", 1 Piece cut at 4"x3", 1 Piece cut at 5" x 3 1/4"
Whisper White Pieces for Inside Layers:  2 Pieces 2 1/4"x 5 1/2", 3 3/4" x 2 3/4", 2 Pieces 5 1/4" x 4"
 Accessories:  Button, Chevron Ribbon, Sticky Strip Adhesive, Velcro for Purse Flap, Square Thinlit  scallop Die for Scallop of purse flap.
Instructions:
*  Adhere both envelope flats to 5" x 5 3/4" scored base layer, when you lay it flat, you will have an envelope on one end and an envelope on the other end.

*Run a 6"x6" piece of cardstock through the Big Shot with the Square Scallop Die, Score in the center diagonally.

*Fold in half diagonally and adhere a piece of 4"x4"  DSP paper for the flap.

*Attach flap to purse using Sticky Strip adhesive.

*Attach 5/8" cardstock to inside of back flap.

*Add Velcro to flap for secure closure.

*Stamp white pieces and assemble.
