This week our featured stamp set is the Curved Occasions found in the September-December Mini Catalog on page 64. When I first saw this set, an idea formed to make a great card. It reminds me of my teenage years from the 70's. (Yes I am a Senior!)

Project Recipe:
STAMP SETS: Curved Occasions, Spiral Dye
INK: Memento Black, Tahitian Tide, Melon Mambo, Daffodil Delight
PAPER: Tahitian Tide Base, Melon Mambo Layer, White Layer, Pink Sparkle paper
ACCESSORIES: Curved Label Punch, Dimensionals, Tahitian Tide Sparkle Gems, Layering Circle Dies, Stampin' Blends in Tahitian Tide, Smokey Slate, Gray Granite, Wild Wheat, Melon Mambo
HINT: By using 2 different Layering Circle Dies, I was able to cut out the sparkle piece at one time. To get the 2 different colors of the Spiral Dye, I ink up the stamp with Tahitian Tide and stamped. Clean it off and then ink it up with Melon Mambo, position it over the piece that you just stamped but move it just a little bit. It worked perfectly and I did this three times to make sure.
