Finally!!!

I finally got my blog fixed, what a relief!! I didn't know what to do with that little video/picture box that was always in the middle of the screen. But I think I figured it out. Don't ask how, as I have no clue what I did!! Thats the story of my life, just keep at it; don't give up, you'll figure it out eventually!!!

I wanted to share some cards with you that I have been working on. In fact I have been very busy with my stamping. I did a workshop in September and I have another in November. I am hoping to build up my business so that I have a workshop every month. That would make me very happy.

This is my Thanksgiving card for this year, you should see it in person! Its just fabulous!!

Well I have to run, All My Children is on and I hate missing a single show!! As always, take care.

Fall is in the Air!

Fall is in the air, the air is crisp today and the sun is out!! We haven't had sun for a couple of days, more like rain and more rain. To the total of almost 6 inches. Flooding everywhere, haven't seen anything like this in years! But today the sun is out and I was walking around the yard and stopped in the garage to see our little kittens. All four were cuddled up in the basket of my four wheeler napping. All I can see, aren't they cute??!!

Last weekend, hubby and I went on a road trip and stopped at the Posy Patch, they have beautiful mums, among the pumpkins, corn stalks, gourds, you name it they have it. And it is so beautiful. I got myself three new mums and can't wait to plant them. Just have to wait a week or so for the ground to dry up some. But for now I am enjoying them in the chair that Justin bought me.

Thats all I have to post today, hope you enjoyed the pictures and as always, "take care!"

Nothing is as Lovely as a Tree!

At my workshop I demonstrated this card. It uses my favorite stamp set Lovely as a Tree and the technique Emboss Resist. By embossing the leaves in gold embossing and sponging the ink onto glossy cardstock is the secrete to achieving this rather unique background.
Here are the demensions:

Ink: Tangerine Tango, Early Expresso, Always Artichoke
Cardstock: Soft Suede, Tangerine Tango, Very Vanilla, Glossy Cardstock
Accessories: Very Vanilla Grossgrain Ribbon, Dimensions, Sponging, Gold Embossing
Dimensions:
Soft Suede 4 1/4 x 5 1/2
Tangerine Tango 4 x 5 1/4 and 2 2/3 x 2/3
Very Vanilla 2 1/2 x 2 1/2
Glossy Cardstock 3 2/3 x 5
Punch: Scallop Oval

Technique - Emboss Resist

Time to Start Stamping!!

If your a subscriber to my blog, I thank you and I hope that you had a great summer. Where did it go I ask you, just where did it go?!!
I can't believe that its September already, but fall is my FAVORITE time of the year. I have signed back up to be a Stampin' UP! Demonstrator. I just missed it so much that I just had to!
So back to stamping. The card that I sharing with you uses the new stamp set from Stampin' Up! Just Believe. If you would like to recreate this card for your own use, feel free to CASE it! Here are the demensions:
Stamps: Just Believe
Ink: Daffodil Yellow, Early Expresso, Wild Wasbasi
Cardstock: Daffodile Yellow, Early Expresso, Wild Washbasi, Whisper White
Accessories: 3 Gold Brads, Extra Large Scallop Circle Punch, Sponge for Masking
Dimensions: Early Expresso 5 1/4 x 4 and 3 1/4 x 3/14
Daffodil Yellow 5 1/4 x 4
Wild Washbasi 3 1/2 x 3 1/2
Whisper White 2 3/4 x 2 1/2

By using a soft touch the masking didn't get too dark which I really liked. Until next time, take care!
