Saturday Spotlight Stamper - Arlys Knoop

I always look forward to our stamping classes, as my ladies will bring cards that they have made to share. Today I would like to share some cards that Arlys Knoop shared with us.

Let's take a look at her cards, shall we?!

This lovely card uses the Fine Art Designer Series paper and a Vellum Dragon Fly to complete the card.

This lovely card uses the new stamp set, Wrapped Bouquet and can be found in the January-June Mini Catalog on page 21.
This lovely card uses the Sale a Bration stamp set called Corner Bouquet and is Free, but just until the end of February.
Here is another variation of the above card, really pretty I think.

Stampin' Up! Weekly Tip - In Bloom Bundle

In Bloom Bundle
Flowers are blooming . . . okay, maybe not really, but you can build your own with the In Bloom Bundle. Show your customers all the possibilities with the fun stamp images and stitched dies.
Share the In Bloom Bundle with your customers next month or another month of your choice—it’s completely up to you. We have simple selling tools on the Bundle Focus page to help you, and they’ll be available as long as these products are current in their bundle form.
Share the bundle of your choice along with these promotions or activities this month:
  • Sale‑A‑Bration alone is always a great reason to reach out to customers, but when you combine Sale‑A‑Bration with any of the tools available on the Bundle Focus page, selling will seem almost too simple.
  • What could possibly make this amazing bundle any better? How about coordinating Designer Series Paper that you and your customers can earn FREE? Place a qualifying order, and select the Paper Blooms Designer Series Paper (item 155222) as the Sale‑A‑Bration item.

Facebook Live Replay - Approaching Perfection

This week's stamp set from Stampin' Up! is called Approaching Perfection, it is a Sale a Bration (SAB) stamp set, along with the Designer Series Paper for both cards are also SAB papers.  So both cards were just about free! I had a lot of fun creating the layout for both cards, it also shows that you end up with two totally different cards just by changing the colors and designer papers.

Here are the card close ups;

Card #1 - Paper Blooms

Project Recipe:

STAMP SET: Approaching Perfection

INK: Night of Navy, Old Olive

PAPER: Old Olive Base, Balmy Blue Layer, Paper Blooms DSP Layer

ACCESSORIES: Dimensionals, Everyday Label Punch

Card #2 - Field of Flowers

As you can see it is the same layout and stamping, just different Designer Series Paper.

For your viewing pleasure, here is the video of the Facebook Live. I just want to take this moment to thank you for following me on Facebook and my You Tube channel.  You mean the world to me!!

February Technique Class Cards

Our technique for February was called SU Blending Brushes and it was a great technique to explore and use.  Blending Brushes have been around for a few years from other companies but Stampin' Up! just started carrying them in the January-June Mini Catalog. We found out that while other companies had blending brushes that were fine, the Stampin' Up! ones had some great features.

We were able to create a soft blend of color when using the new Stampin' Up! Blending Brushes.  Using a circular motion to ink up the brush and starting on a piece of scratch paper and working that into our cardstock was all that we needed to achieve great results. There was no swirls, or uneven color. Clean up was fantastic!!  All you need is just plain water.  I cleaned the brushes the next day by just running them under running water, they cleaned up great!!

Here are the cards:

Card #1 - Birthday Wishes - Isn't this beautiful?!!

We also discovered that you can clean excess ink out of your brushes, just add that color to the flower on the inside as decoration.
