I received photos from Theresa as she was in Oshkosh this last week for Badger Girl State. One of the projects that the girls had was to write individual messages in the Veteran Thank You cards that we made. The messages had to be heartfelt and individual, no two messages could be alike. It just warms my heart to see all the photos, and I couldn't wait to share them with you all.
I boxed up all of the cards and gave them to Theresa, who works with the Bader Girl State organization. She would be taking the cards with her for the girls to work on.Here are some photos of the girls working on the cards that Theresa shared with me.
This was just a small portion of all of the pictures that I received from Theresa. Judging from the smiles, I think that our cards were well received. Seeing these pictures just warmed my heart, and knowing that our cards will end up in the hands of a Veteran when he goes on the Honor Flights to Washington D.C.And once the cards were all written, they were deposited in one of six boxes when they will be sent to six different hubs for the Honor Flights.
Thank you everyone that participated and helped me make 623 cards for our Veterans. Thank you doesn't seem like enough.
