Happy Thanksgiving Everyone!

Happy Thanksgiving Everyone, not just today but every day.  I am thankful for everyone that comes to my stamping classes so that I can share, create and inspire.  I am thankful for my family and friends.  I am thankful that I am able to stamp as much as I do, it gives me alot of pleasure.

I wanted to share this Thankful card with you, which in my opinion can be used for not only Thanksgiving but all year round as a Thank You card!  Did you know that the Woodland Textures Embossing Folder will be retiring on January 4, 2016?  I was sad to see this, but there is still time to get this wonderful folder.

Splatter Technique Class in December

I have a great technique to share with you in December, it's called the Splatter Technique!  Wait til you see it, well the pictures just do not do it justice, it is beautiful and elegant!!

I just love how this first attempt turned out, now this was just the first attempt and is not the card that we will be making but I wanted to give you the idea at how much fun we will have!!

So check your calendars and if you live in the area and can make it, the December Technique class is Monday, December 14 or the repeat class on Wednesday, December 16.  Let me know plan to attend as space is limited.

Peace on Earth Christmas Card

Just one more Christmas card to share with you!  I made this card and at first I thought well it was just okay but then I took a second look and felt that the simplicity of the card was just so beautiful and was definitely one to share!!

I love the sentiment on the inside of the card the best!!  "Rejoicing with you...And Wishing you Every Blessing as we Celebrate the Birth of Jesus our Lord."  Isn't that lovely?!!  It is a new sentiment stamp sent in the Stampin' Up! Holiday Catalog that I have used so many times.  The Versatile Christmas consists of 9 stamps and they are just wonderful!

So here is my card:

Embellished Ornaments for Christmas!

There is a stamp set in the Stampin' Up! Holiday catalog that may look complicated or to much of a hassle, but let me assure it is anything but and is SOOOOO much fun!!

What am I talking about?  The Embellished Ornament stamp set and matching Ornament Framelits that making cutting out these beauties a piece of cake!  The cards that you can make with this stamp set and framelits are endless and the cards are so pretty!

 Isn't this card pretty?  I added a layer of Snowflake Vellem as a layer, I love the results!

I just love the simplicity and elegance of this card, it looks like I spent a ton of time on it but I didn't.

TIP:  To make your framelits work a little better when there are alot of pieces to cut out, try running the framelit through your Big Shot with a unused dryer sheet that you have folded to make four layers.
